API: Send SMS by number -> Select phone number to send from

It would be massively helpful to have the ability to select phone numbers to send SMS texts from. This would apply to workspaces with multiple numbers, and only one user.
The current user interface does not allow for phone numbers to be unassigned from workspaces with a single user. We are only able to pass the team_id as a parameter from the phone call, thus having no control over which phone number we are sending texts from.

Hi Spontaneous Goose — thanks for posting this, super helpful context. Totally get why this is a pain when you’ve got multiple numbers in a workspace but only one user and you can only pass the team_id via the API. We’re going to take a closer look at what it would take to let you explicitly choose the “from” number when sending, and we’ll follow up once we’ve got more info.
