As a SalesMsg user, I'd like the platform to allow me to set business hours restrictions at the account level, so that SMS messages cannot be sent outside of designated time windows (e.g., 8 AM - 8 PM in the recipient's time zone). This would prevent accidental early morning or late-night messages that could upset recipients and potentially violate compliance regulations.
Use Case:
We have multiple team members sending messages and running workflows. Without account-level controls, there's risk of messages being sent at inappropriate times (e.g., 6:47 AM), which damages our reputation and may violate SMS compliance rules. An account-level setting would ensure all outbound messages respect business hours regardless of when a workflow triggers or when a user manually sends.
Desired Functionality:
Set allowed sending hours at the account level (e.g., 8 AM - 8 PM)
Respect recipient's time zone
Queue messages sent outside business hours for delivery at the next available time
Apply to both manual sends and automated workflows
