As a user, when I schedule a broadcast I would like to make edits to it until it is at least "in progress", so that I don't need to delete the whole thing and remake it to edit it.

You can now start, pause, stop, and edit scheduled broadcasts!

Agreed, the ability to edit the day and time sent, plus edit the text would be incredibly helpful. It would much better than having to delete the whole thing and start over.
