Add the ability to react to messages (e.g., with emojis) to enable quick acknowledgments and lightweight responses without sending a full message. This would improve conversation efficiency, especially for internal collaboration and high-volume chats.

I would love to have the ability to react to incoming messages. That's one of the only things I miss about our old phone system (WE LOVE SALESMSG). It was just a really great way to engage with our constituents.

@Elegant Impala Thanks for posting this — love hearing what you miss from the old system (and appreciate the kind words!). Quick couple questions so we understand the use case a bit better: are you wanting reactions mainly as an internal “ack” for your team without sending a reply, or do you want the constituent/customer to actually see the reaction on their end? Also, what’s the main goal you’re trying to hit that’s tough to do today (faster acknowledgment, friendlier engagement, cutting down on one-word replies, etc.)? And lastly, are there any must-have reactions (👍 ❤️ ✅ etc.), or would a basic starter set work?

- We want the customer to see the reaction. Similar to how you can react to texts in iMessage (iPhone) or Google Text (Android).
- You actually hit on ALL the reasons we want to use it. Sometimes we want to acknowledge them but acknowledgements don't always need a lengthy reply. Just a reaction to what was said. And I think it's very friendly and easy to interpret. Especially for younger constituents.
- My personal favorites are ❤️ 👍 🥳 💯 ✅. But we are an animal welfare organization so I can see my team wanting to use 🐶😺😸😻😹😽🙀😿. However, basic is better than none!
