Stop Triggered SMS if outside of Business Hours

It would be nice if Triggered Text messages would be held in a que to be sent at a later date or not sent at all if it is triggered outside of business hours The ability to turn this feature on or off would be great as well.

Ability To Send Workflow SMS at specific times of day or prevent texts going out after hours.

Example: if I select WAIT 1-DAY, I'm not expecting the text to go out at 3am, not realizing that is when the prospect originally opted in.

I’d like an account-wide “send during business hours only” feature.

Hello Yinmn blue Opossum! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific time windows would you prefer for sending out SMS messages?
- Would you like the ability to customize these time settings for different days of the week?
- How important is it for you to have an override option for urgent messages outside of set hours?

Chris Brisson Hey Chris, I set up my first workflow to that includes sending a follow up text a day or two after the initial lead came in. But I keep getting people pissed off that I'm text them at 1AM or 3 Am. Of course I"m not.
In Go High Level, they have feature where you can set a text Wait a Day, but you can also set business hours/days. That it avoids sending texts in the middle of night, which will always causes unhappy customers.
The is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, as I'm considering using a different service if there isn't a work around this issue. Thanks - Mike T.

Mysterious Bison have you tried creating the window from Activecampaign?

Chris Brisson: Yes we do this in ActiveCampaign for the most part. ActiveCampaign doesn't have provisions for Holidays or Vacations. The Issue with doing it in ActiveCampaign is if I have a hold for example of 3 days in an automation and need to turn that Automation off for a week to go on vacation. The second I turn that Automation back on anyone still sitting in a wait will trigger and send all at once. Multiply that over an entire ActiveCampaign system and you could have hundreds of text messages simply trigger and go out. Then all those clients would be on the same timing for triggers from there on out. So ActiveCampaign doesn't handle turning automation off very well when it comes to waiting times. The other thing ActiveCampaign doesn't do well when it comes to waiting times is You need to put on in every place you need a wait. There is no central location that can be edited. So if you want to change your business hours in ActiveCampaign you will need to do that for every waiting period you have. I can record a video to better explain if it would help?
